Donations go to a diverse group of local community-based organizations. For more information, about the organizations, please go to Whom We Support.
 

 

 

You can donate using a credit card. You can also designate a certain amount from your weekly, biweekly, semimonthly or monthly paycheck. However, only Columbia University employees can donate from their paycheck online. Go to How to Donate to give.

If you need verification of donations made in past years, please send an email to Joan Griffith-Lee at jeg7@columbia.edu, or call 212.854.4288. Be sure to supply your Uni or employee id number.

 

The entire amount of your donation is tax-deductible. You will receive an acknowledgement letter within two to three business days after receipt of your donation/gift.

 

 

The CCS Board of Directors works tirelessly to evaluate grant applications and visits each agency to assess their needs. After applications are processed, they meet to decide the best way to help each agency.

You can donate to CCS by making a credit card, cash or payroll gift. Payroll pledges are processed according to your pay schedule. You can also support CCS by choosing to volunteer at any of the community organizations that receive CCS grants.

 

A copy of the Campaign Performance Report is distributed to each Department Captain at the end of the Campaign. If you are interested in seeing the report, please send a request to Joan Griffith-Lee at jeg7@columbia.edu.

 

CCS chooses community organizations that are located far south as 96th Street, and as far north as 155th Street, and from Hudson River to Fifth Avenue.

A new campaign begins every November. A new donor card must be completed in case donor information changes. This must be done if you donate via credit card, cash, or by pledge (from your paycheck).
