HYPOTHEkids' mission is to provide underserved students with hands-on science and engineering, educational and mentorship experiences such that they can thrive in the high tech economy of tomorrow.

There are four different programs for students ranging between the ages of 4 and 18 including the Hk Summer STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) program; Hk STEAM Up! for students interested in a project based learning approach to STEAM; Hk Maker Lab in partnership with Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and New York Bioforce that has intensive lab training and placement in internships in labs at Columbia, Cornell Medical, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

The CCS grant is used to provide scholarships for students to attend Hk Summer STEAM.
