New York Common Pantry

New York Common Pantry fights hunger and food insecurity through programs that establish long-term independence for its clients. One of the programs, Project Dignity, provides case-management services, including help obtaining Medicare, housing and benefits. Project Dignity also provides homeless clients with a range of concrete services, including onsite showers, laundry, haircuts/shaves, cell phones, and the use of their site as a permanent mailing address.

The grant from CCS has been vital to support staffing and operational expenses for the Project Dignity program, which serves as a bridge back to health, well-being, and self-sufficiency for their homeless clients.
