Project Brownstone

Founded in 2012, Project Brownstone was launched in response to challenges faced by underserved Harlem children and to re-energize the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance by developing and empowering youth through holistic programming.  PB uses arts and education to  develop skills and tools to change and alter the trajectory of at-risk youths to a life of poverty.

Their CCS grant was used to purchase textbooks and supplies for the Textbook Stipend Project for students transitioning to college.
