For more than 50 years, Samaritan Daytop Foundation has been improving the quality of life of New Yorkers facing adversity. They are nationally-recognized for their work in substance abuse treatment, specialized services for veterans, and housing. Within their program portfolio, they provide a continuum of services including health and mental health care, addiction treatment, treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), employment and training services, housing assistance, and services for homeless individuals and seniors. Annually, they serve more than 6,000 people at more than 20 facilities in New York City and in upstate New York.
The CCS grant is used to provide training and staff development at two of Samaritan Daytop's Manhattan-based programs.
