$25 = 4 Students STEM Education

Your $25 donation to CCS allows grantees like Harlem Grown to invite 4 students to participate in one of their 1-hour immersive, hands-on farm tours that they provide to schools and youth groups throughout New York City. Students participating in the tour learn about hydroponics, soil-based farming, and composting while making a difference in their community. Give Now

Common Denominator

$100 =  2 Sessions of Math Tutoring 

Common Denominator, a CCS grantee, provides specialized one-on-one math tutoring to middle school students from our neighborhood. Their curriculum is designed not only to address each student’s needs, but to also make it fun so that students will stay in the program. The high school graduation rate for the middle school students who participate in their program is 97%, close to double that of their socioeconomic cohort.
