Using Mobile Meals to Meet the Needs of our Food Insecure Neighbors.

The Coronavirus has placed a huge strain on Food Pantries. Nearly one-third of food pantries in the five boroughs have already shut down as they struggle to feed the growing number of New Yorkers left jobless by the COVID-19 bug that has shuttered thousands of businesses. CCS Grantee New York Common Pantry is now using mobile meals to meet the needs of our food insecure neighbors. As a result, they were able to assist 5,000 of neighbors since this pandemic began.
