Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some non-profits are requesting monetary donations in lieu of physical donations.
Donate a Physical Toy
Cathedral Community Cares' (CCC) mission is to combat and alleviate poverty through preventive services, education, and advocacy, specifically targeting the issues of health and hunger. The organization is serving about 400 - 450 bags every month. They are collecting toys for children aged 1-13 years Monday - Friday from 9AM to 6PM at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue.
Double Discovery Center at Columbia University needs your help to distribute at least 50 holiday boxes to their low-income and first-generation community youth. Each Holiday Gift Box will contain food pantry items for a holiday meal and a gift that the children can enjoy. To support this effort, simply purchase a toy off of their Amazon wishlist and it will be shipped directly to their offices.
Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement (HCCI) helps Harlem residents by providing economic development and empowerment opportunities. HCCI will distribute as many as 500 toys at its 4th Annual ToyTopia! To assist their efforts, you can drop a toy off at 2785 Frederick Douglas Blvd. Call 212-281-4887 ext 200 for dates and times.

The Graham Windham Manhattanville Cornerstone Community Center strives to make a life-altering difference with children, youth and families who are overcoming some of life’s most difficult challenges. This year, they need your assistance with providing 95 children, ages 6-13 with holiday gifts!
NY Common Pantry fights hunger and food insecurity through programs that establish long-term independence for its clients. Each year, NY Common Pantry hosts a Toy Drive, but because of COVID-19 restrictions, this year, they are asking for your donation to help them distribute hundreds of Target gift cards to families with children who visit their Pantry.
Harlem Grown inspires youth to lead healthy and ambitious lives through mentorship and hands-on education in urban farming, sustainability, and nutrition. The organization is looking to raise $5000 to purchase toys directly from a local business to distribute to Harlem youth.
