Harlem Chamber Players Come Home for "A Hug For Harlem"

After rave reviews for performances elsewhere in Manhattan, "A Hug for Harlem" finally premiered in the neighborhood that inspired it, thanks in large part to the Harlem Chamber Players. Inspired by luminaries of the Harlem Renaissance, composer Jeff Scott brought together strings, winds, percussion and spoken word to transport audiences through the moments that shaped the history of this dynamic community.
