West Side Campaign Against Hunger’s (WSCAH) annual Turkey Challenge has the ambitious goal of providing Thanksgiving meals and turkeys to 7,000 New York families facing food insecurity. For more than 20 years, WSCAH has provided turkeys and healthy food so that every family can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together. After supporting their efforts last year with a donation of 150 turkeys, this year CCS increased its impact by partnering with Columbia University Facilities and Operations to donate 551 turkeys to the WSCAH, which were handed off by the Columbia Dining team to WSCAH this morning.
